A new warehouse technology by Symbotic uses AI and robotics to improve warehouse and supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. The system combines hardware, software, and autonomous bots that quickly move up and down warehouse aisles to complete transactions at remarkable speeds. Utilizing this technology also adds space efficiencies compared to a traditional warehouse with standard staff and equipment. Because the robots can build more efficient pallets and require less operating space, warehouses can hold larger inventories of goods in smaller spaces.
