Starship Technologies developed a robot delivery service that provides people with a contactless method to get meals and groceries delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic. The service is offered in several urban areas, including Milton Keynes, England; Fairfax, Virginia; and Washington, D.C.
“People that may be self-isolating at home can get their groceries on-demand in a contactless way using our robots,” explains Henry Harris-Burlap of Starship. “They don’t have to go to the store, they don’t have to leave their homes.”
