Students from the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences developed three medical inventions selected as winners in the recent Hackathon Virtual MaroCovid19 competition designed to help fight COVID-19.
One is an app-based drone delivery system called African Saviour that connects testing kits with patients experiencing coronavirus symptoms without exposing healthcare professionals during the testing process.
Another, named the Digital Medical Respiratory System, delivers respiratory information to doctors remotely and allows them to make critical treatment and care adjustments.
And the third, called the Moroccan Electronic Prescription, is a mobile app that digitizes patient prescriptions and eliminates the need for pharmacies to rely on paper records from doctors to fill patient prescriptions.
