Researchers from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health are using smartphone apps and online surveys to collect vital coronavirus information, including who has been infected, what are the symptoms of the infected individuals, where the disease infection rates are ballooning, whether some groups are disproportionately affected by the disease, and if social distancing protocols are producing positive outcomes.
Here’s a sampling of the tools and information on how you can contribute to the research:
- COVID Symptom Tracker – Symptom tracking app
- HowWeFeel – Symptom tracking app
- COVID-19 Symptoms & Social Distancing Web Survey – Web survey
- Global COVID-19 Survey – Web survey
- Beiwe – Symptom tracking app
- COVID-19 Signs and Symptoms Surveillance System – Behaviors and Inequities – Web survey
- Health and Wellbeing of Pregnant and Post-Partum Women During the COVID-19 Pandemic – Web survey
