The technology is capable of bringing high speed internet to nearly half of all rural American households — an essential resource in modern life. This study found that the technology is capable of bringing broadband connectivity to 8.4 million households in need.
5G FWA provides broadband access via wireless links between fixed points rather than cable lines, providing a last-mile solution that can connect cell towers to a person’s roof.
