According to Digital TV Research, the global over-the-top (OTT) video market will soon surpass pay TV’s revenue. Last year, global OTT revenue reached $68 billion, a 33% increase over the previous year. In contrast, the pay TV sector’s revenue peaked in 2016, capturing $205 billion, but is expected to decline to less than $76 billion by 2024.
