A new survey from the Generation Lab found that an overwhelming majority of college students on both sides of the political spectrum think social media companies have too much power in politics, with 96% of Republicans and 70% of Democrats agreeing with that statement. A 51% majority also think that Big Tech’s power must be checked through government regulation, with more young Democrats supporting this than young Republicans.
