The internet is a major part Millennials’ daily lives. According to a February 2019 survey, about half of Millennials said they could not live without the internet and believe that internet access should be a human right. Despite the ubiquity of their internet connected lives, Millennials, like other generations, share serious concerns about the vulnerability of their personal data online. As of May 2018, 56% of Millennials said they do not trust social networks to protect their data and information. That’s comparable to the 63% of Gen Xers and Baby Boomers.
