In 2020, the U.S. broadband industry added $79.4 billion in capital expenditures into network and connectivity infrastructure, keeping Americans connected during the height of the global pandemic. Overall investment has remained stable around $80 billion for the past three years, according to a new report by USTelecom. Additionally, prices dropped 7.5% for all speed tiers and overall speeds increased by 96% year-over-year.
